We have just received two GX AXS upgrade kits. These won’t last long. Scoop one if you want to have one of the coolest mtb products out there. It may be November until we get anymore!

What are the differences between this and Xo1 AXS??? Not a lot to be honest. Let’s start with what’s the same. GX ($600) and XO1 ($800) both feature the same motor, electronics, cage lock feature, pulleys, and the derailleur saving overload clutch which allows the derailleur to release upon making an impact with unwanted obstacles.

You’ll find a steel pulley cage on GX versus the lighter aluminum one on XO1. This results in around a 60 gram difference. As an added bonus you get the battery protector cage included with GX. This is gauranteed to be a hot product for SRAM, you will see more and more people ditching their mechanical drivetrains for the simplicity and reliability AXS provides. After over 2500 miles of testing we have found that AXS simply stays in tune better. It’s gives you some type of piece of mind knowing that you derailleur can take a hit and keep functioning thanks to the overload clutch feature. Over all we are extremely happy with ho well this system works and are beyond excited to have a more affordable offering available.
