Service is handled by drop-off during shop hours. Timing varies based on workload and the type of service needed, and is discussed after an in-person assessment.
Servicing your suspension is key to making sure it performs properly and lasts. Every bump, root, and rock your suspension is moving, and we want to keep it operating smoothly. Proper performance means tracking the ground efficiently without beating up your body, letting you ride farther and faster with less fatigue.
Over time, dirt gets past the seals, oil degrades, and internal wear increases. The longer service is deferred, the more damage occurs. Manufacturer service intervals exist to preserve performance and minimize long-term wear. We’re equipped to facilitate this while keeping downtime to a minimum.
Basic Service:
Routine maintenance, similar to changing the oil in your car. Keeps things running smoothly, but won’t correct underlying performance issues.
– 50 hour intervals
Fork Lower Service: Includes replacing wiper seals, foam rings, and lower bath oil.
Shock Air-Can Service: Includes replacing wiper seal, glide rings, quad seals, and air-can oil.
We are capable of servicing most brands and models but some may require parts to be ordered.
Full Service:
More involved than a basic service, but often necessary to restore suspension performance. Returns your suspension to factory baseline (while retaining tuning adjustments). Dampers and air springs need attention just like lower legs and air-cans do.
– 100 or 200 hour intervals (varies per model)
Fork Lower and Upper Service: Includes replacing wiper seals, foam rings, lower bath oil as well as an air chamber rebuild, damper rebuild and bleed.
Shock Air-Can Service and Damper Rebuild: Includes replacing wiper seal, glide rings, quad seals, air-can oil as well as a damper rebuild and bleed (and nitrogen recharge on fox).
We can rebuild most Rockshox forks in house. We can also help facilitate factory-rebuilds for Rockshox shocks as well as most other brands forks and shocks including Fox/Marzocchi, Cane Creek, DVO, and others.
Dropper Rebuild:
Just like your suspension, your dropper needs attention too. Some posts just need air when they start getting slow to return, others need a rebuild or new cartridge. Depending on the model of post, we should be able to help get you squared away so that your seat drops and returns instead of sagging with each pedal stroke.
We can regularly stock Bike Yoke rebuild kits. We are also able to rebuild OneUp and help with Rockshox and Fox.
Not sure what service you need? We’ll inspect your suspension and walk you through the options before any work begins.
Lead times vary throughout the year and can change week to week depending on workload and the type of service needed. After your bike is inspected, we’ll talk through what it needs, available options, and current turnaround so you know what to expect.
