What we find interesting is One Up tweaked the SPD system in a way… their mechanism gives you 5° of float and a 12° release angle but with no unwanted play. The tighter cleat fit doesn’t sacrifice float and delivers a locked-in and secure feeling. One up has their own cleat, but you can use a Shinamo SH51 in a pinch (aware of typo) Fine tune the feel of your pedals with a wider range of spring tension adjustment than Shimano, removable pins, and the included cleat spacers for the perfect fit with any shoe.
